Founded in 2019, Genista Energy was established to make a difference to the renewable energy sector.
As UK government legislation moves towards carbon reduction, battery storage systems are replacing many traditional power sources. This has led to a greater need for systems that support renewable energy resources.

GRAHAM HALL | Director
Graham founded Genista Energy in May 2019 and brings 25 years of global experience in development and production engineering and management. He has worked for companies in California, the Czech Republic and Germany, working with and for industry leaders in the battery storage, DC-DC conversion and renewable energy sectors.

JAMES DAVIDSON | Director
Jim has a proven track record and a passion for developing small to medium size enterprises having owned, developed and managed his own businesses since 2004. Jim’s substantial experience includes successfully leading and concluding a management buy-out from a large ‘High Quality Engineering’ Aberdeen based firm in 2004. Year on year growth led to selling the company to a multi-national Surface Engineering firm in 2012. Jim expanded his international reach as far afield as Perth Australia. He also set up a replica of the Aberdeen operation in the Middle East, (Freezone) Dubai.
He is a member of the Chamber of Commerce International committee where he attends International Business Manager meetings and is an advocate and ambassador for The Circular Economy.
